Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Catering Cook to join our team. This role combines kitchen prep work with hands-on support during catering events. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys both cooking and serving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fresh ingredients for catering orders, following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Assist in assembling boxed lunches, platters, and other catering items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Participate as part of the catering team during deliveries and on-site events, helping with setup, serving, and cleanup as needed.
- Monitor inventory and notify management of ingredient needs to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow food safety standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior kitchen experience preferred, especially in catering or fast-paced food prep environments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both in the kitchen and on-site at events.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible schedule, including weekdays and occasional weekends as needed for catering events.
