The Bar Attendant supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and operating efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality service and smooth workflow. Associates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about hospitality. Evening shifts and weekend availability are required.
Responsibilities:
Bar Setup: Set up and stock the bar area with ice, glassware, paper supplies, condiments, and tools according to setup guidelines.
Stocking: Maintain inventory levels throughout the shift, including restocking beverages, garnishes, and paper goods as needed.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar unit, tables, tools, and surrounding areas.
Glassware & Bussing: Remove soiled wares from bar tops and tables promptly and ensure clean glassware is readily available.
Communication: Check in with the supervisor before leaving at the end of each shift to ensure all duties are complete.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures. Report accidents or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
Guest Interaction: Welcome guests warmly and professionally. Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a friendly and efficient manner.
Team Support: Work cooperatively with bartenders, servers, bussers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Appearance Standards: Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform at all times.
Company Standards: Protect company assets, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and follow all policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, or move for an entire shift
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Bend, twist, reach, and work on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall operations in Red Bar and/or Lobby Bar.
