CLE Transportation is a family owned and operated company based out of Norwalk, OH.
We are looking for a qualified CDL Class A professional truck driver to complement our fleet. Freight ships from our terminal in Huron, OH to western, southern and midwestern states back to our home bases. Outbound trailers are mostly preloaded. We service South, Southwest, and Midwest. 99% of the freight is no touch.
This is an
OTR position with varying hometime depending on location.
- OH, MI, and IN drivers can be home on weekends
- Everywhere else can be home every other weekend
- Stay out longer to earn more hometime: 3 days after 2 weeks, 5 days after 4 weeks.
What we offer
Pay Rate :- Our pay rate is .60-.65 cpm
- Average week 2600 miles for home weekends and 3200 miles for OTR
- We offer compensation for detention, layover, stops and breakdown delays for cpm drivers

PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY
Requirements:
- 2 years of RECENT, VERIFIABLE and CONSECUTIVE driving experience is a must! NO significant breaks in employment.
- No more than 1 major MVR violation
- No more than 1 major CSA violation
- NO acute accidents
- NO SAP drivers due to recent change in insurance guidelines
- NO felonies on record due to recent change in insurance guidelines
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AVAILABLE LOG HOURS AS PER FMCSA STANDARDS.
- Applicant must be proficient in English language
- Applicant must have valid CDL and medical certificate issued legally. We will check.
- WE are not 1099 and we do not do lease purchase. We operate ELDs via Samsara and it cannot be manipulated.
