Requirements
We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL CLASS A FLATBED DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including flatbeds and dry vans. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries.CDL CLASS A FLATBED DRIVER Responsibilities
- Operate trucks, including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and dry van trailer units, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations while on the road.
- Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- CDL CLASS A FLATBED DRIVER Qualifications
- CDL CLASS A
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- 2+ YEARS Experience in truck driving with knowledge of flatbed, dry van trailers preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy
